1500 tonnes of structural steel has been fabricated for the extension to the Austin Hospital carpark. The new levels are built on top of an existing concrete structure. 

Page Steel chose to adopt bolted angle connections to improve on fabrication efficiency. All drafting was performed in house using Tekla Structures, and regular updates of the 3D model had been posted to Page Steel Fabrications web site for downloading by the client. 

The contract for the Monash Carpark level 3 and 4 was awarded to Page Steel Fabrications in 2015. The project comprised of an additional two levels of steelwork to the existing steel structure.

Page Steel Fabrications are contracted to supply all drafting, Metal decking & shear Studs, Fabricated structural steel, Temporary handrail and site erection.

Page Steel Fabrications was the first fabricator chosen to fabricate the Iconic Victorian Desalination project. The reverse osmosis ( R.O ) building was the largest building on the site. 

The NMIT project was a steel composite structure that featured a link bridge and a steel spiral staircase. 

The Green Square project consisted of building 6 new levels on top of an already existing building. Construction was to happen while the business below continued to operate. Heavy operations had been carried out after hours, and steel erection continued during normal construction hours. The design called for one transfer level of heavy steel and then lighter repetitive fabrication on higher levels. The designed used the Posi Strut flooring system. The system allows small clearance in the ceiling space between levels. Page Steel worked with Icon Co and the consultants to come up with a narrow bracing system to work within the tolerances.

After winning the contract for the Monash University Carpark levels 3 & 4, Page Steel had been awarded two additional levels 5&6.

1650 tonnes of structural steel has been fabricated for a new TNT freight facility. The project design adpoted two runs of 9tn 3.5m wide trusses for the length of the building.

The Dawson Street carpark was originaly design as a concrete construction. Page Steel Fabrications together with Onesteel market mills and the builder designed a steel composite alternative.

The Tasmanian Woolworths Distribution Centre contained 1200 tonnes of structural steel.

Page Steel manufactured the project from Victoria and shipped it across to Tasmania.

The erections of the structural steel was also performed by Page Steel.

The steel multi level design had been chosen over a concrete design with cost inputs supplied by Page Steel showing the project could be built cheaper in steel. Existing site conditions with limited access helped the steel solution to be successfully chosen.

Page Steel fabricated 1200 tonnes of steel for the DBCT coal terminal. This included the S13 conveyors, drive towers and transfer towers.
